Ensure your right to vote while living in a senior community. Here are some resources for long-term care facilities to help their residents vote.

Long-Term care facilities must work with their residents to ensure they can vote. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) suggest the following resources:

  • Absentee voting
  • Facilitate mobile polling
  • Transportation to polling centers
  • Assistance by a representative of your choice to complete your ballot
  • Ask your community administrator or ombudsman for the plan in your community
